Senior Software Engineer

ByteSnap Design are currently recruiting a senior software engineer. The successful applicant will get to work on a wide variety of interesting projects for our national and international clients.

Esssential Experience

Windows CE Platform builder experience - CE5.0/CE6.0 ideally

OS level porting, either driver, kernel or boot loader

Experience working with hardware

Programming experience - very strong C++/C

Good written and spoken English

               

Good to have

Windows CE apps programming

Windows Mobile apps programming

Windows Mobile OS programming

PIC/Microchip/Cortex programming experience

Hardware knowledge

Experience with CVS revision control

Project management experience

Customer-facing experience              

Less important but advantageous

iPhone/Android/Symbian programming

Programming experience in Java / C# (Med-Strong helpful)

Interest/Ability for basic manipulate graphics/icons

            PHP scripting

Linux OS/Programming exposure
