The Birmingham-based electronics design house was a finalist in the Consultancy of the Year category at the British Engineering Excellence Awards this month. Its innovative expertise has also seen ByteSnap nominated as Design Team of the Year at the 2014 ELEKTRA’s – dubbed Europe’s “Oscars of the Electronics Industry”.

“It’s just fantastic to make the final once again at these coveted awards,” said ByteSnap Director Dunstan Power, “and we’re really looking forward to EDS too, as last year it was an excellent show for us.  It’ll be great to catch up with old faces and make new connections.”

The electronic design consultants have seen a year of steady growth punctuated with engineering challenges, chafes and triumphs – one of the most eventful in their six-year history.

Senior engineers with extensive embedded systems experience, they founded ByteSnap in 2008, offering end-to-end services in both hardware and software.  The firm is now one of the UK’s leading electronic design consultancies, with an international order book.

The award-winning team – BEEA Consultancy of the Year 2013 and ELEKTRA Design Team of the Year 2011 – is highly skilled across several markets including industrial, energy and home automation.
