Europe’s Busiest EV Charging Posts at the 2012 Games 

ByteSnap Design, working with ChargePoint Services designed new hardware and software for the electric vehicle charging posts for the London 2012 Games. The posts are charging the fleet of 200 BMW and Mini electric vehicles that will transport athletes and officials between venues at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

ByteSnap Design’s software and hardware is the first to bring Windows CE to gas analysers approved for Zone 0 environments where flammable gasses are highly likely to be present.

ByteSnap Design Ltd and Geotech have announced an industry first for commercially available, intrinscially safe electronic devices that incorporate many of the features commonly associated with smartphones and PDAs, making gas measurement and analysis simpler, safer and faster than before.

ByteSnap Design wins the prestigious Design Team of the Year Award at the European Electronics Industry Awards Ceremony 2011 held in London. ByteSnap beat off stiff competition to land the award which tops off a great year for the company.

ByteSnap Condor Tracking Device

ByteSnap designed and manufactured part of a unique Condor tracking device which is currently being used in Argentina. The device tracks the flight of the large birds before being remotely released enabling researchers to obtain the data without having to recapture the bird.

ByteSnap Design has announced that it has completed a project to successfully port the rugged mobile terminal skeye.dart to Windows Mobile 6.5. The project included managing Microsoft ‘Logo Test Kit’ (LTK) testing – allowing the German manufacturer Hoeft & Wessel to display the Made for Windows Mobile Logo on their product.

The Indian Government has introduced a requirement that a Chartered Engineer's Certificate is obtained prior to export to India. This certificate is a record of an inspection by a chartered engineer to assess the quality and residual value of the goods being exported.
